Medicine Hat Health Foundation (MHHF) hosts historic Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal ceremony.

Medicine Hat AB – On Monday, January 23, 2023, on behalf of the Government of Alberta, the Medicine Hat Health Foundation hosted a Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal Presentation Ceremony at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.

The Queens’s Platinum Jubilee celebrates the 70th anniversary year of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne as Queen of Canada on February 6, 1952.

While the Platinum Jubilee Medal program was created to honour Her late Majesty for her life of service, this commemorative medal was created by the Alberta Government to be awarded to 7,000 deserving Albertans for their significant and lasting contributions to the province.

The Platinum Jubilee Medal (Alberta) Presentation Ceremony held at the hospital honoured 10 local recipients for their service contributions to the community, healthcare and the positive impact their achievements have had in the region.

We celebrate and honour the following Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Medal Honorees:

Leah Campbell

Dr. Vincent DiNinno
